Each step in a writer's life is overwhelming, and, well,,, "VIRGINAL." (See definition below.) From the 1st blank page, to completion, to endless editing, to "now what?" to querying, to contracts, to promotions, etc. etc. The minute we tackle one step, we are thrust into another foreign world.
